中文摘要 | 水體中維持適當的溶氧是魚類生存的必要條,因此探討魚類因水中溶氧不足而死亡的現象,為進行河川魚類復育不可或缺的關鍵因子。本研究即針對高雄愛河常見的三種魚類進行低溶氧窒息死亡研究,以做為河川水理模式及魚類生態復育管理之基礎。 本研究於2002年1月至10月間,進行虱目魚、大鱗鮻與吳敦魚等三種愛河常見魚類稚魚之48小時急速低溶氧致死實驗,評估溫度23°C下、鹽度20‰之半致死時間LT50和LT50皆不同,其中以虱目魚對低溶氧之耐受性最低,吳郭魚最高。虱目魚、大鱗鮻及吳郭魚的48h LC50分別為15.7%飽和溶氧、8.6%飽和溶氧及7.8%的飽和溶氧,其值在23°C下分別為1.16、0.63及0.57 mg/l的溶氧絕對濃度。三種魚類的LT50亦呈現明顯的種間差異。在23°溶氧濃度0.52 mg/l,虱目魚整平均LT50為78分鐘,大鱗鮻為246分鐘,而吳郭魚之平均LT50則超過1000分鐘。研究的結果建議常以虱目魚作為愛河魚類生態復育的目標魚種時,應在河水溶氧達LC50(25.6%飽和溶氧,1.89 mg/l)之際,即刻進行河水曝氣動作。 |
英文摘要 | Studies on suffocated level of low dissolved oxygen for fishes are the key factor in ecological river restoration since appropriate DO (dissolved oxygen) is critical for fish survival. Therefore, lethal DO levels of three common fish species in Love River, Kaohsiung, which is the first rebuilt river in Taiwan, were investigated in this study to provide a basis for water quality model and conservation of local fish populations. Acute 48 hours suffocated DO experiments of fish fry were undertaken for three common species, milkfish (Chanos chanos), mullet (Liza macrolepis) and tilapia (Oreochromis spp.) Median lethal times (LT50) and median lethal concentrations (LC50) at the 20% salinity and 23°C were determined. The results showed that the three species had different LC50s and LT50s, milkfish fry was the most sensitive, whereas tilapia fry was the least. The 48h LC50s of milkfish, mullet and tilapia were 15.7, 8.6 and 7.8% of air saturation, respectively, which were 1.16, 0.63 and 0.57 mg/l at 23°C. The LT50s were also obviously species-specific. At 0.52 mg/l, the average LT50 was 78 minute for milkfish, 246 minutes for mullet and over 1000 minutes for tilapia. The results suggest that a manual aeration system should be operated at LC10 (25.6% air saturation, 1.89 mg/l) immediately, based on milkfish as the objective species for restoration of Love River. |
