中文摘要 | 森林水文為森林生態系重要一環,與養分循環、植群分佈及土壤化育等密切相關, 因此,若欲探森林生態系特性,則森林水文研究是不可或缺。林業試驗所自1964年起,即 陸績在六龜試驗林設置五座森林集水區量水堰,從事森林水文研究;1997年時,更選定部 分六龜試驗林做為「森林生態系經營」示範區,期能在符合生態原則下,從事森林經營管理。 為瞭解六龜試驗林森林水文特性,並提供爾後森林生態系經營參考,本文將以往已發表之相 關報告做一回顧整理,文中包括三大部份:(Ⅰ)溪流水量水質,含量水堰設置及資料分析 等;(Ⅱ)氣象水文,含氣象站設置、降雨量及蒸發量等;(Ⅲ)土壤沖蝕,含林道沖蝕及林 地地表沖蝕等。經文獻回顧後得知,六龜試驗林土層淺薄、地勢陡峻,降雨分佈不均.每年 4至9月降雨量約佔全年的90%,故崩塌、沖蝕時有所見,河川淤砂亦多,因此,如何經營 管理河川上游森林集水區,以維持優良水質、供應穩定水量、降低下游土砂災害,是未來森 林生態系經營重點之一。 |
英文摘要 | Forest hydrology is one of the important elements of forest ecosystem. It is closely related to nutrition cycle, vegetation distribution and soil development. Taiwan Forestry Research Institute (TFRI) had established five weirs in the Liu-Kuei Experimental Forest since 1964 to study the forest hydrology. In 1997, part of the Liu-Kuei Experimental Forest was selected by TFRI to be the demonstration area for "the forest ecosystem management project", which means to manage the forest based on the ecological principles. In order to recognize the characteristic of forest hydrology in the Liu-Kuei Experimental Forest an to provide references for the future management, the major purpose of this paper was to review and discuss published papers related to forest hydrologic research there. There were three main parts in this paper (Ⅰ) quantity and quality of streamwater, (Ⅱ) hydrometeorology, and (Ⅲ) soil erosion. According to this review, thin soil layer, steep slope, and concentrated rainfall from April to September often caused landslide and soil erosion in the Liu-Kuei Experimental Forest. Therefore, how to reasonably manage upstream forest watersheds in order to maintain excellent water quality, provide steady water quantity, and reduce downstream debris disaster is very important for the forest ecosystem management in the Liu-Kuei Experimental Forest in the future. |
