中文摘要 | 本研究以圖像類的「電子副語」,即網路的圖像符號之類型分析及應用為主。運用符號學與圖文傳達理論,將網路圖像符號區分為四大類型:臉部表情符號、肢體動作符號、環境氣氛符號、道具配件符號,再針對各類型進行分析研究。網路圖像符號產生於網路的溝通環境,而隨著網路溝通應用工具的增加與科技的進步,網路圖像符號的作用從為解決無法面對面的「非言詞傳達」問題,逐漸轉變為一種塑造「趣味性溝通經驗」的符號。網路圖像符號的主要功能,在於表現人類的情緒狀態,閱讀者對於網路圖像符號的理解,仰賴人類的語意反應與經驗聯想,此外,研究中發現,漫畫的閱讀經驗與「漫畫符號」,影響了使用者對網路圖像符號的創造形式與理解。 |
英文摘要 | This paper focused on the classification and application of the iconic internet signs, the icon-type of electronic paralanguage. By using semiotics and picture-literary composition and communication theories, we define and then analyze the iconic signs as four categories, a) Sign of facial expression, b) Sign of body language, c) Sign of surrounding atmosphere, d) Sing of appliance and accessory. The iconic internet signs are created by people who communicate to each other on internet and then change into signs to create experiences for communication pleasure from nonverbal problem solving at the beginning since application tools and technologies evolved. The main function of internet sign is to express human's emotional mood. Users' understandings of iconic internet sign rely on the semantic reaction and experience association. The results also show that comic reading experiences and "comic signs" which affected people's creation and understanding of internet signs. |
