中文摘要 | 本論文主要在釐清原始道教經典的界定問題,作為安排通識課程進階程序的參考,筆者發現道教史的專家們,說法各異,遂從各版本的交集中尋出一條判準,最末以《道德經》為優先,《周易參同契》最精彩,作為本文探索《道德經》轉化為《道德真經》的脈絡問題與翻譯問題,發微《道德經》的外圍因素「政教力量」與內在因素「詩化的語言」、「自然天道觀」,三項因素塑造出神化的老子,在宗教的讀本中擴散聯想的作用,創造出新的生命圖像作為創教教義。神學者偷天換日的工夫,展現出再創造的詮釋效果,是有其文學生命力,然而文學技巧不如原典的精練,它的價值性反而隱晦不彰,散失亡佚則成為必然現象,今日再解讀它只能從神話的角度作為詮釋觀點,其義理的密度與深度是有其不足之處的。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, I attempts to categorize the Classics of Daoist religion as a theoretical foundation and guidelines for Daoist religion courses offered as college level general education. Scholars have different views concerning this issue, and I hold that the Tao Te Ching is the most important text and the Chou-I Tsan-Tong Chi the most appealing one. The discussion focuses on how the Tao Te Ching was tranformaed into the Tao Te Chen Ching. Interpretations of the Tao Te Ching in the Tao Te Chen Ching will be analyzed. The process of textual transformation from the first to the latter is completed through adding interpretation with the following three elements: the concern for edification that serves political purposes, poetic forms of language, and the concept that the Nature follows that Tao. Practitioners of Daoist religion recreated the Tao Te Ching and thereby bestowing it a new life by presenting Lao Tzu as a divine figure. However, in terms of literary renovation, this attempt for recreating the Tao Te Ching turns out to be a failure as the final product were written with inferior literary skills. The profound meanings expressed with the extremely succinct languages in the original text become obscure in the new text. Therefore, the value of the new text lies in its mythological elements that it added onto the old text. It failed to make any contributions to the profundity of the doctrines taught in the old text. |
