英文摘要 | We propose an efficient method for designing the cascade-form FIR digital filters with sum of signed powers-of-two (SPT) coefficients. The design is based on the parallel and global search of the evolutionary algorithm (EA). The FIR digital filters with cascade-form are employed to replace the single direct-form FIR filter to improve the peak error of performance. Moreover, the efficiency of the numerical combination is increased by using the signed SPT terms allocations scheme (SPT-AS). The examples show the improvement of the peak error when the length of the filter is increased. |
