英文摘要 | Cu-EDTA complexes can often be found in wastewaters. Chemical precipitation method was used to treat Cu-EDT A complexes in literatures, but it has some faults that are also reported by the investigators. Therefore, adsorbing colloid flotation with Fe(OHh or Al (OH)3 floc and sodium lauryl sulfate were tried to reduce the copper content in Cu-EDTA solution. In our experimental observations, we found that the Fe(OH)3 floc did not form until pH was greater than 5.5, in some favorable conditions, over 99% of copper could be removed in 5 min, whereas Al(OH)3 flocs were less effective, but still had 98% removal of copper in 10 min. The effect of neutral salts on adsorbing colloid flotation were also studied. |
