中文摘要 | 本文目的是利用臺灣海域不均勻分佈的長期波浪資料,經由主成分分析及群集分析來進行海岸空間相似波候的均勻性的探討,分析結果顯示,北臺灣沿岸冬季空間分布之歐氏距離最小,此現象與北台灣海域測波站較密及冬季季風所造成的波候比較均勻有關。比較北部海域空間均勻分區與中央氣象局近海漁業氣象北部沿岸(從新竹到花蓮沿海)之預報分區,每一預報分區至少可再細分一個預報區,這個初步的建議可提供中央氣象局近海漁業氣象預報分區重新調整之參考。另外本文目前所分析空間均勻分布可提供未來區域波浪模式網格點大小之選定及在海岸變遷模式中所需模擬範圍內波候資料獲得之參考。初步結論也顯示,臺灣海域沿岸波浪特性有地域性之影響,因而影響沿岸空間均勻分區之大小,因此不論從科學上、海洋工程觀點、海象預報以及未來海岸遊憩區等各方面需求,應繼續增設現有測波站密度。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this paper is to analyze the inhomogeneous distributed long-term wave data over Taiwan waters by using the principal component and cluster analyses for the study of the homogeneity of the regional wave climate along coasts. From the hierarchical plot, it is shown that the Euclidean distance of the spatial homogeneous distribution of the winter case is the shortest along the northern Taiwan coast. This phenomenon is also related to more other stations there and the winter-monsoon-generated wave climate there is also smoother. The results of the homogeneity of wave climates are compared with the operational fishery weather forecasts issued by the Central Weather Bureau around northern Taiwan waters, it shows that each forecasting area can be subdivided into one more forecasting region from Hsinchu to Hualien coasts. The initial suggestions can provide the Central Weather Bureau for its’ adjusting references on coastal fishery meteorology forecasting regions. Besides, the result of the homogeneity of wave climate can be provided to decide the resolutions of wave models and the initial wave data for the coastal changed model. From the above preliminary conclusions, it shows that the local region influences the wave characteristic of Taiwan coasts. So, no matter whether it is from the standpoint of the science, the ocean engineering, the wave forecasting and the future recreations along the seashore areas, the increase in the establishment of the density of filed measured stations should be continued. |
