中文摘要 | 蘇丹草(Sorghum sudanense)台畜草一號為本省芻料作物之新品種,屬自交系,為自 美國引進Tifton族群中選出,此品系在命名前原代號為Tifton-TLS1,依育種程序參加新品 系比較試驗、區域試驗、地方試作試驗及栽培密度、肥料、動物等試驗,結果適應性廣,耐 旱,具宿根性,鮮草產量於抽穗前後達最高,即每次每公頃可收割40~55公噸,此時可青 飼;於乳熟後期至糊熟時(抽穗後21~35天)乾物產量及水溶性碳水化合物高,有利於青 貯,可提供完全混合日糧所需之青貯料。全株粗蛋白質含量於抽穗時8~10%,糊熟時7~9%, 而糊熟時全株酸洗纖維37~40%,中洗纖維65~70%,水溶性碳水化合物8~12%。於抽穗後 三個星期製作青貯料其品質Flieg's氏評分點80分屬佳等,質感及香味皆佳。氰酸含量於抽 穗左右已很低約40 ppm,對葉斑病抵抗力強,餵飼泌乳牛之泌乳量及乳成份與放任泌乳牛 吃盤固乾草作對照組者差異不顯著。此草種可利用機械播種,行株距以80×10公分為佳, 適於中南部地區種植,由於產量及品質表現優異,於民國84年11月17日經農林廳正式命 名為蘇丹草台畜草一號。 |
英文摘要 | Sudangrass (Sorghum sudanense) Taishi No. 1 is a self-pollination forage sorghum variety, selected from Tifton population which was introduced from the United States of America. It was coded as Tifton-TLS1 before formal registration. Tifton-TLS1 was under evalution according to breeding procedures including advanced, regional, local forage yield and animal trials, plant density and fertilizer tests. It performed well with strong resistance to target leaf spot caused by Drechslera sorghicola, great adaptation, strong regrowth ability and high forage yield. It produced fresh forage yield with 40~55 mt/ha/cut at heading stage and could be used to feed livestock with green chop. It had high content of water soluble carbohydrate from late milking to dough stage (about 21~35 days after heading) and could be advantageous to quality silage. Crude protein contents were 8~10% at heading stage and 7~9% at dough stage, respectively. The whole plant contained acid detergent fiber 37~40%, neutral detergent fiber 65~70% and water soluble carbohydrate 8~12% at dough stage. The Flieg's score of silage quality determined 21 days after heading was about 80. It indicated that Sudangrass Taishi No. 1 possed high components to make quality silage. The hydrocyanic acid potential was low and was below 40 ppm after heading. Cow feeding showed milk production and chemical components such as fat, protein, lactose and solid contents were not significantly different when fed greenchop of Tifton-TLS1 and grazed on pangolagrass A254 pasture. The optimum plant densitiy was 80×10 cm. The variety was suitable to grow in southern Taiwan. Tifton-TLS1 was formally registered as Sudangrass Taishi No. 1 by Department of Agriculture and Forestry, Taiwan Province Government in November, 1995. It can be released for farmers to grow for animals as green chop or silage. |
