中文摘要 | 如何應用森林資源調查所建立的林木蓄積資料庫,以數學估算模式準確地推估森林資源林木之碳貯存量,始終是世界各國林業部門研究的重要課題之一。本研究引用生物量與材積關係式(biomass-volume relationship)之方法推估臺灣地區森林林木碳貯存量,關係式中所用之推估參數-生物量擴展係數(biomass expansion factors: BEF),採用與臺灣地區森林林型在種源與分佈有地緣關係之中國大陸地區相關林型BEF模式,推估結果臺灣地區森林林木之碳貯存量約有150.70Tg(1 Tg=1012g:百萬公噸),每年可吸收大氣中約4.56Tg的碳,而臺灣地區森林林本每公頃平均碳貯存含量約為71.68Mg/ha(1Mg = 106g):公噸);若以林型類別區分,竹林每公頃可貯存碳量最高,可達83.24Mg/ha。 |
英文摘要 | For forest sectors of the world, it is an important task to study the utilization of growing stock volume data of forest inventory and to obtain an accurate estimation of carbon sink of forest resources by a quantitative estimate model. In this study, the model of biomass-volume relationship was used to estimate carbon sink of forest resource in Taiwan. The adopted parameters (BEF value) for the model were available in the forests of China, where forest types possess the closest relationship in species origin and distribution with Taiwan's forests. The estimation results indicate that the carbon sink of forest resource in Taiwan is 150.70 Tg (1 Tg = 1012g). Taiwan's forest trees could sequestrate 4.56Tg of carbon from atmosphere annually and its average carbon density is 71.68Mg/ha (1Mg = 106g). The comparison between the forest types shows that bamboo stand has the largest value of carbon density (83.24Mg/ha). |
