中文摘要 | 本研究將對生產鋁合金鑄件的消失模鑄造法做深入的探討。我們由數學模擬解析 方法來探討流動模式及充填完後融湯的溫度變化,並用實施結果來驗證模擬之溫度變化。 本研究在數學解析方面,是以流體力學及熱傳學的觀念,採用美國 Los Alamos Scientific Laboratories 所發展出來的一套具有處理自由流體表面能力的計算流體力學技術, 名叫 SOLA-VOF,並加以改良,延伸到三度空間的解析且併入熱傳學方面的考慮,來輔助消失模的 製程設計與操作。在流場方面,消失模鑄造之金屬融湯的自由表面是以較平均的方式向外擴 展,與傳統重力鑄造的結果有明顯不同;在實驗量測方面,我們測量金屬融湯充填完後之溫 度變化,與模擬結果比較,可發現充填完後兩者的降溫模式非常類似。 |
英文摘要 | This research conduct a thorough study for evaporative pattern casting process to produe aluminum alloy casting. We study the fluid flow and heat transfer phenomena is evaporative pattern casting process by mathematical simulation methods and expereimental measurements are also taken to verify the simulated results. In the mathematical simulation part, we employ a family of computational fluid dynamics technique; named SOLA-VOF, developed by Los Alamos Scientific Laboratories of USA, which has the capabilities of treating free surface flows. SOLA-VOF is in corporated with the consideration of heat transfer to aid the design and operation of evaporative pattern casting process. From the results of the fluid flow simulation, the free surface of molten metal in evaporation pattern casting process is expanded more evenly, which is rather different from gravity casting. In the experimental measurements part, we measure the temperature variation of molten metal after filling. As we compare the simulated temperatures with the experiemtnal results, we find them very similar in the pattern where the temperatures of the casting are dropping. |
