中文摘要 | 基於安全的考量,例如醫院內部的通訊,使用紅外光做為傳輸媒介而非射頻是具有相當充分的理由,因為射頻對於人體的影響仍爭論不休,相對地,紅外光則無此顧慮且不會對於其他儀器造成干擾;另外,紅外光的使用也可使室內的佈線變得簡易許多,而因利用紅外光傳輸所成的簡易佈線不僅帶來相當的便利性,某種層面也反映了環境的安全性。上述的這些理由,促成我們對紅外光連上網際網路技術的探討與開發。而本計劃研究著重於將筆記型電腦與集線器兩原有的有線連接,轉為以紅外光資料協會(IrDA)標準協定之紅外光做為傳輸媒介,其望能達成單點對單點的紅外光網路通連技術的實現。 |
英文摘要 | For the consideration of safety, for example, communication in the hospital, using Infrared rather than radio frequency has a strong support since the effect to human beings using radio frequency is still controversial. In contrast, Infrared without such concern and does not interfere other instruments. In addition, using Infrared reduces the complexity of the layout of indoor wires. Not only the convenience brought by using Infrared, but also the safe environment can be achieved. Based on the above reasons, we start investigation the Infrared access technology to Internet. This project pinpoints to establish a connection between a Notebook and router via the IrDA Infrared standard to replace its original wired connection. The primary goal is expected to accomplish the node-to-node Infrared access technology. |
