中文摘要 | 本研究主要係基於制度經濟學派與社會學新結構論之論點,並以勞動力原有工作在職業間、產業間、及企業間之階層化現象界定勞動結構,探討個人原有工作所處勞動市場結構與失業率、失業類型、及主、客觀失業風險的關聯。經使用1998年「人力運用調查」與1997年「工作經驗調查」分析後發現:在職業結構與企業結構部分,工作所處階層化勞動市場結構愈佳的位置,如職業結構中的高層與基層主要勞動市場,和企業結構中的政府機關與大型組織,其失業率與所屬勞動力可能面臨的主、客觀失業風險分顯著較低,同時其失業類型也相對有較高比率係因自發或個人因素的自願性失業,而相對較少受景氣等外部因素所皮的循環性失業影響;至於以產業為向度的階層化勞動市場中,勞動市場結構與失業率、失業類型、及主觀失業風險亦存在關聯,但在客觀失業風險上則無統計上差異。綜合而言,本研究證實制度經濟學派與社會學新結構論之相關主張,即階層化的勞動市場結構除傳統所發現對個人薪資存在影響外,也與個人工作保障和失業現象存在關聯。 |
英文摘要 | Based on the arguments of “Institutional School” of Economics and “New Structuralism” of Sociology, the main purposes of this study are to examine the associations of unemployment and labor market structures, defined by the dimensions of stratified occupational, industrial, and firm structures. Using the data sets of 1998 “Labor Forces Utilization Survey” and 1997 “Working Experience Survey,” the findings indicate that: the better labor market of the occupational and firm structures, the lower aggregated level of unemployment rate, the less risk of unemployment, and the less perception of losing job. In addition, those finding are also applicable to the labor market structures of industrial dimension, except that there are no significant differences on risk of unemployment between core and periphery industries. Meanwhile, we also find that the structural factors rather than individual factors are significant determinants of unemployment in Taiwanese labor markets. In general, the associations of unemployment and stratified labor market structures are confirmed from this study. |
