中文摘要 | 新型的工程塑膠,聚2,6-荼二甲酸乙二醇酯(簡稱:PEN)因其具有�B環的耐熱性、 疏水性及分子配向性等特徵, 所以比起目前廣泛被使用的聚 I,4- 苯二甲酸乙二醇酯 (簡 稱:PET),有較佳的物性與化性。 而發展此一高性能工程塑膠所需的原料�B,可以來自煉鋼 與煉油的副產物煤焦油。所以用這些副產物做為化工原料,相信不僅是達到廢物利用。亦可 降低成本,且必能提升工業技術,減少污染。本研究進行各種聚酯合成反應,如酯交換法 ( 包括:醇解反應與酸解反應 ),直接酯化法,醯氯法,固態聚合法等,並選出了醇解法為目 前最適合工業化生產高品質 PEN 聚酯之製程。 從篩選觸媒及反應條件等著手,並配合熱安 定劑:可製造出商品級無色透明的聚 2,6- �B二甲酸二二醇酯。 |
英文摘要 | The new style polyester (polyethylene naphthalate: PEN) with better characteristics than polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was expected to be produced by using the characteristics of the naphalate ring, such as thermalstability, hydrophobicity and molecular orientation. The raw materials inconsideration are naphthalene, which is the major component of coal tar, andcoal tar, which is the mass by-product of oil and steel refining. So the use of by-products as the raw materials of the chemical industry will not only decrease the cost of production but also promote the technology of industryand reduce the enviromental pollution. In this study the various methods investigated included alcoholysis and acidolysis of esterexchange, directesterification, acyl chloride and solid state polymerization method. The quality of the products were compared as results of the different reactionconditions in order to obtain the opmum processes for industrial massproduction of PEN. Among the various methods investigated, esterexchange polymerization (alcoholysis) was found to produce the best qualityPEN. We can produce colorless, transparent and commercial PEN withc ertain catalysts, certain stabilizers and suitable reaction conditions. |
