中文摘要 | 網路維運中心(Network Operation Center,NOC)研發包含二個工作目的:第一部份是在平時協助本公司經營層、管理層及工作層相關人員了解目前整體電信網路運作情形並加以控制處理;第二部份在天然災害發生時亦能及時掌握各類電信設備及客戶受損情形,對於相關搶修計劃,時程與支援器材皆可由本系統獲知。本系統開發乃是以現有各種維運支援系統、災害通報系統、物料管理系統為基礎發展,建立彼此關聯進而提供一電信網路整體維運機制,提昇電信服務品質。 |
英文摘要 | The implementation of Network Operation Center (NOC) for Chunghwa Telecom has two different objectives. The first one is to assist the managing、administrating and operating people for monitoring and controlling the whole Chunghwa Telecom's telephone network. The other is to provide a mechanism for tracking telephone network out of service situation during disaster happened. In order to achieve the first objective, NOC integrates Switching Operation Support System (SOSS)、Network Management System (NMS)、Transmission Operation Support System (TOSS)、Power Operation Support (POSS) and ATM Network Management System. As to the second objective, NOC gets disaster reports from existing QOS system to supervise the malfunction of network element and its influence to customer. As long as any network element has serious out of service situation, the number of infected customer、the repair plan and the time of in service again are tracked step by step. In this article, we introduce the design philosophy of the NOC and its network infrastructure. Besides, the software functions and its design philosophy are also presented. |
