中文摘要 | 處在科技發達的今日,一般人大多只知道追求物質的滿足,而忽略了人的本質。 今天在教育上,各級學校也多半如此。但是我國自古以來的教育目標,就是著重在人的基礎 上。從先聖先賢的遺言中,可以看得出來,先民教育的旨趣,在學習如何生活;充實人生; 建立良好的人生觀,發揮生命的價值。 中華文化源遠流長。歷經五千年,仍能屹立不搖。一定有其立國精神所在。連橫臺灣通史序 中曰:「夫史者,民族之精神,而人群之龜鑑也。代之盛衰;俗之文野;政之得失;物之盈 虛;均於是乎在。」睽睹歷史,再由先聖先賢的教誨來看,中國之所以能夠長久立國,「氣 節教育」是重要的因素之一。 當前的社會,充斥著一股「只要我喜歡,有什麼不可以」,自私自利的思想。隨心所欲,為 所欲為。人與人之間「道義擺兩旁,利字擺中間」。當利害發生衝突時,各種亂象,就層出 不窮了。根本忘了先祖所告誡「已所不欲,勿施於人。」的訓示。不知道「當為」與「不當 為」的分野。實是令人憂心。基於此,特別撰寫此文。以喚起有心人士的重視。共同為提倡 氣節教育而努力。 本文計分七節。分別討論中華民族的定義;民族性的涵義;中華民族的融合與方式;中華民 族特性的形成;民族氣節;中華民族的英雄人物;氣節教育的時代意義來討論主題。疏漏之 處,在所難免。當請不吝指正。庶幾對氣節教育;有所提升,也是寫作本文期望之所在。 |
英文摘要 | Most of people given to material satisfaction are winking at the intrinsic nature as a human being, so do the schools today. The goal of Chinese education have laid much emphasis on the human basis since ancient times. We may tell it from the will of our late saints and sages that their gist for instruction lies in "Learn how to live, better our life on and on, build up a good view of life, and make the value of our life into a full play." Chinese culture stands erect and magnificent. There must hang a spirit of founding the country. This spirit is also defined by Lian Heng as "national spirit" in the preface of Taiwan. General History. It is indispensable for weighing the upe and downs of a dynasty, the mores being civilized or not, the gain or lose of the politics, the wax or wane of a thing, etc.. In light of its long history (five thousand years), together with the inculcation of late saints and sages, China can survive, and what is more she has the dege on the other countries that we are obliged to giving credit for one of the key factors, ie, the righteous education. Next, modern society is rife with egotism and having everything at one's own sweet will. People set aside the morals and descend into chasers of their own interest. That is why the whole world is in great chaos, especially when there is a conflict of interest running against each other or one anothor. They have forgotten the admonition "Do not do to others what you don't want to be done to you." And fail to tell dos and don'ts. This article is written for the purpose of evoking people's attention and thus willing to make the common course to advocate the righteous education. This article consists of seven parts. They are listed as follow: (1) The definition of a Chinese nation (or people) (2) The implication of the national character (3) The forming of the Chinese character (4) The melting and its way of a Chinese people (5) The national righteousness (6) The Chinese national heroes (7) The contemporary meaning of the rightoouse cducation There might he some careless omissions in this article on the ground of rushing it through.
