中文摘要 | 本研究旨在調查非計量多向度量尺法之適合度統計數--壓力係數(Stress)的實徵抽樣分配。本研究分為兩個部分,第一部分研究應用Monte Carlo法調查電腦隨機製造之資料的實徵壓力係數分配,本研究分別模擬刺激能數目為6、8、12、16、24、32和40等七種狀況,每種狀況各利用電腦隨機製造100組次序資料.做為輸入資料,一一利用SAS程式提供的MDS程序進行分析,估計各組資料之一到五向度最終構形之壓力係數值;第二部分研究應用bootstrap法調查構形向度已知之實際測驗資料的壓力係數分配。除了調查隨機資料和背後結構已知之實際測驗資料的實徵壓力係數分配外,本研究亦比較兩者之壓力係數分配上的特徵。研究結果可做為實際應用壓力係數評估非計量步向度量尺法之構形適合度的參照基準,此外,研究者就研究發現提出以壓力係數判斷和決定資料之構形向度時應注意的事項。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the sampling distribution of the stress values yielded by Kruskal's nonmetric multidimensional scaling procedure. The study consisted of two parts. In the first part, Monte Carlo method was implemented to investigate the empirical sampling distributions of the stress values by scaling the randomly generated sets of data. The number of stimuli were chosen to be 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32 and 40, and one hundred sets of random proximities were generated for each condition. Each data set was analyzed via MDS procedure provided by SAS program, and the stress values for the final configuration in spaces having 1 to 5 dimensions were determined. In the second part, bootstrap method was applied to study the empirical distributions of stress values produced by real test data sets with known underlying structure. The properties of the empirical distributions for the stress values from the random data and real data were also compared. The results presented in this work can be used as a bench mark against which to evaluate the significance of the stress value obtained from empirically based nonmetric multidimensional scaling. In addition, the suggestions for the use of stress values as goodness of fit measures were proposed. |
