中文摘要 | 「多點競爭」最近成為策略學界關切的重要課題之一,本文回顧過去學者的研究後,提出二個主要的論點。第一是對於影響廠商多點競爭策略決策與效果的情境變數:本文以結構化的方式,提出從巨觀到微觀層次的三大僵固因素,以此來統攝以往學者所提出的各種情境變數。第二是在巨觀的僵固性分析時,區分多產品競爭與多地區競爭,以此分類方式,可以解釋在不同的多點競爭類型之下,為因應不同的競爭方式,對廠商核心能耐的特質要求將有所不同。本文所提出的二個論點,有助於解決過去未對多點競爭加以分類,而造成無法深入分析的困擾。 |
英文摘要 | Multipoint competition is becoming an important issue in strategic management research. We have reviewed the strategy literature of multipoint competition over the past years, and contributed to the theoretical development in two ways. First, from macro to micro perspectives, we propose a framework of rigidity analysis, which can be used to incorporate and classify the contingency or moderate variables of mutual forbearance effect suggested by researchers. Second, we distinguish two basic types of multipoint competition--multi-product and multi-area--and then discuss the core capabilities needed and their strategic implications for these two types. We believe that future research on multipoint competition can be build on our effort. |
