中文摘要 | 本研究之主旨在探討以鳥類群聚調查評估環境改變時,調查方法之精密度評估, 並以鳥類群聚指數建立一套評估方法,以台灣中部一水力電廠,施工前後之調查資料為例, 說明如何以鳥類群聚調查資料判定環境品質的改變。為了評估調查方法之精密度,於台灣中 部關刀溪惠蓀林場LTER研究地上,以穿越線調查法、點估法和定時計種法,連續於1995年冬 季進行8次鳥類群聚調查,以進行方法比較。點估法較穿越線法可以估得較多之鳥種。分析 各群聚指數之%RSD得知,點估法和定時計種法較穿越線調查法能有效地偵測到環境品質之 變化。 由台灣中部一水力電廠施工前整年之調查資料,分析得知鳥類群聚調查方法之精密度 因季節而異,夏季較其他季節容易測得環境之改變。因此由季節性之鳥類群聚指數,可以 建立環境品質監控表,其由此表簡單地偵測出,電廠施工後環境品質的改變。 |
英文摘要 | The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the precision of avian community census methods used for environmental impact studies in forest ecosys -tems in Taiwan.An environmental quality evaluation system was established by using avian community indices collected from a forest ecosystem at Ku Kuan in central Taiwan for an environmental impact study of a hydroelectric power plant construction. A method evaluation study was also conducted in a forest ecosystem at a LTER ( Long-term Ecological Research) site at Guandaushi in the winter of 1995. Avian community census methods including the line transect method,the point count method and the time-species method were carried out parallel to monitor the avian community indices for eight replicates in the Guandaushi forest ecosystem. More avian species were identified by the point count method than the line transect method.Analysis of the percentage RSD of each method revealed that the point count and time-species methods are superior to the line transect method in detecting environmental changes. A seasonal precision variation of the avian community census method was found in the impact study of the power plant construction at Ku Kuan.The census method was more sensitive in detecting environmental changes in summer than in other seasons.Therefore,we used the seasonal avian community indices to establish environmental quality control tables for evaluating the environmental quality changes after the power plant construction.The change of environmental quality was detected objectively by checking the avian community indices recorded after the plant construction against the environmental quality control table generated form the same season before the plant construction. |
