中文摘要 | 奧萬大森林遊樂區為臺灣最著名的賞楓據點之一,自1994年開放參觀以來,每年10月至翌年2月的楓紅季節,蜂擁而至的賞楓人潮已對該區各主要據點及步道沿線之植群、土壤及其他自然資源造成相當程度之不良影響,實有必要對其遊憩衝擊效應作詳細的調查監測,並速謀改善或防治策略,以免衝擊現象日益惡化,而降低其遊憩環境品質。 本研究藉由植群覆蓋度減少率(CR)及植相變異度(FD)兩項植群衝擊介量,輔以土壤硬度增加率(SHI)之調查監測,來評估奧萬大森林遊樂區內各主要步道沿線之植群及土壤衝擊效應,探討其與遊客量及環境因子間之關係;並以步道兩側之地被植群覆蓋度為指標因子,進行「可接受的改變限度」(LAC)之調查分析。1998及2001年前後兩次之調查研究結果獲致若干結論如下: 1. 各步道沿線之植群及土壤衝擊影響範圍均集中在步道邊緣2m以內,其中以楓林大道及楓林區步道之衝擊程度最為嚴重,其次為松林區步道,而森林浴步道及賞鳥步道之衝擊程度則較為輕微;各步道4年來之踐踏衝擊程度略有減輕。 2. 步道沿線之植群衝擊效應與遊客量最具顯著相關,而步道寬度及土壤硬度也為重要影響因子。 3. 由CR及FD二項調查介量所合成之植群衝擊指數(IVI)與其分級,可供為評估及監測遊樂區步道沿線遊憩衝擊程度之簡易而實用的綜合性指標。 4. 以步道兩側的植群覆蓋度為LAC之指標因子,針對遊客、專家學者及經營管理單位人員之問卷調查結果,訂出其可接受改變之標準為減少50%之履蓋度。 為有效改善及防治遊憩發展對該遊樂區植群及土壤之衝擊效應,本研究依據實地調查研究結果,提出若干策略或技術上之建議事項,供為相關單位制定或修正其經營管理策略時之參考。 |
英文摘要 | We studied the patterns and extent of trampling effects along trails in Auwanta Forest Recreation Area of central Taiwan. In five trails with different trampling density, the changes in vegetation and soils were investigated. While cover reduction (CR) and floristic dissimilarity (FD) represented the vegetation change, and the increase in soil hardness (SHI) served as an indicator for the soil impact. The concept of limit of acceptable change (LAC) was used in the long-term monitoring of trampling impacts in this area. The analysis of field data led to the following conclusions: 1. Vegetation and soil changes were found within 2m from trailside. The extent of trail impacts varied with the amount and density of tramplers. The Feng-lin Avenue and Feng-lin-chih Trail suffered the most from the trampling. 2. The Index of Vegetation Impact (IVI), together with the parameters of CR and FD, formed a combined indicator for estimating the extent of trampling impacts along trails of this area. 3. The standard of acceptable change in ground coverage was found to be 50% of coverage reduction from the trails according to the LAC questionnaires from experts, managers and visitors. Some suggestions were proposed to the authorities concerned to minimize the trampling impacts of trails in their management. |
