中文摘要 | 組織培養苗的栽培多年來皆以螢光燈管為人工光源,超高亮度紅、藍光發光二極體(light emitting diode, LED)問世後,用做為作物栽培人工光源的研究在全世界正方興未艾。LED為冷光源,具有體積小、壽命長、衰減小、耗電小、使用直流電與可選擇波長等特色。本研究旨在使用LED建立適用於組培苗栽培的光源系統,此系統主要包含燈具與驅動器兩大部分。燈具採模組化設計,可安裝於現行使用的多層式栽培架;驅動器設計允許使用者分別調整通過紅光或藍光LED的電流,達到分別調節光量的目的,進而間接調整兩者光量的比例;亦即調整光質。工作比與頻率可調之設計則是利用直流電之特性,允許在不影響作物的成長速率下能進一步省電,且提供完全不閃爍或高頻閃爍的光源。本研究所研發的人工光源在10公分距離,20mA標準工作電流下可提供紅、藍光合計超過150µmol/m²/s的光量,適用於大部分組培苗之生長栽培,並可做為探討光合作用、光型態發生與光質對植物生理等研究領域的一個頗佳的試驗工具。 |
英文摘要 | Fluorescent lamp is the most popular light source for plant tissue culture in confined environment. Recent developments of super bright red and blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) has made it a promising light source for plant growth due to the characteristics of low thermal energy emission, long usable life, low degradation, using direct current, low energy consumption, and selectable wavelength. The objective of this study was to develop a lighting system for plant tissue culture applications, using super bright red and blue LEDs. The system includes mounting fixture and driver. The mounting fixture can be installed on existing multi-layer benches easily and the driver can provide the capability of adjusting the forward current of blue and red LEDs separately, thus, leading to the adjustment of light quality. The driver also provides the capability of adjusting the duty ratio and frequency of the blue and red LEDs at the same time. It is possible to save electricity by adjusting duty ratio and frequency without reduction on the growth of the plantlet. The lighting system developed is also capable of providing continuous light or intermittent (pluse) light. At 10 cm distance, the system developed can provide at least 150 µmol/m²/s of light with a given 20 mA working current to both blue and red LEDs. The device can be a great tool for photosynthesis and photomorphogenesis research. |
