英文摘要 | Particle scattering through a spherical potential well is treated by three successive procedures to demonstrate the quantum effects. The differential cross section from a geometric treatment as in geometric optics consists of an incoherent sum of components associated with each geometric path, while the geometric-phase treatment gives rise to the coherence among components. By considering Huygens!| principle, the wave treatment as in wave optics brings an additional term to the differential cross section, which corresponds to the Fraunhofer diffraction in optics. |
