中文摘要 | 網際網路在設計之初只提供最簡單之盡力資料傳送(best effort data delivery)服務品質(Quality of Service),為了能廣泛推廣即時應用服務,必須修改網際網路架構使能支援即時服務品質,同時控制端點對端點之封包延遲。IETF因此提出區分服務架構(Differentiated Service Architecture),此架構不但使用網路能滿足各種不同服務等級應用之需求,藉此訂定不同之收費標準,同時解決網路擴充性問題。本文即針對區分服務架構做介紹,同時提出若要於網際網路市場上順利推出品質服務,除品質服務技術標準之制定外,所需之其他管理計費技術,如服務品質政策管理、計費系統及效能測量系統等。並收集目前各網路元件廠商相關產品之成熟度,以評估現階段網際網路服務品質之可行性。 |
英文摘要 | The current Internet offers only a very simple quality of service (QoS), best-effort data delivery. Before real-time applications can be broadly used, the Internet infrastructure must be modified to support real-time QoS, which also provides some control over end-to-end packet delays. IEFT proposes differentiated services (DiffServ) to accommodate heterogeneous application requirements and user expectations, permit differentiated pricing of Internet Service and at the same time achieve scalability. In addition to the DiffServ, we also discuss some other topics related to the QoS service, such as QoS policy, SLA (Service Level Agreement) and accounting in this paper. At last, there will be information about current QoS market to verify the possibility of providing QoS at this time. |
