中文摘要 | 平衡缺損會阻礙正常功能的回傳,增加再傷害的危險。對骨科、復健科醫師及病人而言,為了全面的醫治,尤須關心平衡功能。傳統上骨科復健焦點是放在減輕疼痛、正常關節活動、增加肌力與耐力、回復工作與運動。但明顯地對於有些需要敏銳平衡技巧的運動,如滑雪、溜冰等,平衡的敏感度似乎更為重要。為了更好的治療,我們研發了電腦平衡測試機系統,以了解、評估、量測不平衡。此系統包含了:(1)能感測受測者搖擺程度的平衡機。(2)能將類比的位移訊號轉換成數位訊號的A/D轉換器。(3)用以處理分析資料的PC。(4)監視腳踝運動的螢幕。初步的研究是先以21位腳踝受傷者與健側組做比較,並分析雙腳站立眼睛張開、閉上,慣用腳、非慣用腳單腳站立四種情況。結果顯示受傷者有明顯的平衡缺損,且在沒有視覺回饋的情形下更形嚴重,同時慣用腳比非慣用腳有更好的平衡技巧性。 |
英文摘要 | Balance is one of the most essential functions to affect our daily life. Persons with balance deficits usually have great possibility of the risk to re-injury. Traditionally, the destinations of orthopaedic rehabilitation have been focused on reduction of pain and edema. However, these improvements do not necessarily produce an automatic increase skill or return patients to their former functional levels. It has been identified that strength scores do not offer additional independent explanation of gait performance. Instead, balance affords a reliable and valid measurement. The purpose of this study is undertaken to confirm whether we could provide a self-designing machine for evaluation of the balance skill. Furthermore, we used this system to detect the deficits of balance function in the patients who sustained unstable ankle joint. Twenty-one male patients with chronic ankle sprain were tested (average age: 23.5 years). The control group was 21 normal male individuals (average age: 23.9 years). There were no associated injuries in both groups. Measurements were carried out with technologic advances of computerized balance-testing machine (CBTM) that is used to measure the dynamic balance behaviors. This system contains dynamic platform, A/D converter, PC-self-designed software, and real-time monitor. The results indicate that the ankle-injured patients have predominant balance deficits. As no visual feedback is provided compared to visual feedback, imbalance for the abnormal group increase greatly. Also, the dominant leg shows to have a better balance skill, sensitive adaptation from vibration to maintenance of steadiness, than the non-dominant one. This study showed that the technologic advances of the CBTM developed can provide crucial tools for research, diagnosis, therapy, and most important, care of the patients. |
