中文摘要 | 咬合關係在咀嚼、吞嚥及語言中均扮演重要角色,因此瞭解異常咬合(malocclusion)現象的發生機制與發生部位將有助於提供臨床治療上的參考。本研究針對正常正常咬合及三級異常咬合群顱底形態上的差異以測顱術分析(cephalometric analysis)、薄板仿樣分析(thin-plate spline analysis)以及有限元素形態分析(finite element morphometric analysis)進行探討。在薄板仿樣分析方法上,主要為找出變形前後間的對映函數(mapping function),透過此對映函數的轉換便可獲得變形前後間的相對位移量,隨後便可將各節點之變化量以有限元素中的後處理(post-processing)進行分析,並藉由獲得各元素主軸方向之應變量而進行量化分析。此分析方法的優點在於可得知顱底局部區域的形狀和大小變化,並且可獲得變形的主要走向,有助於瞭解三級異常咬合的機轉及提供後續研究的參考與適當臨床治療的建議。 |
英文摘要 | Dental occlusion plays an important role in the mastication, deglutition and speaking. Hence, the study of the mechanism of malocclusion has its significant contribution for clinical application and treatment. This study investigated the morphometric difference in cranial base between normal occlusion and Class Ⅲ malocclusion groups, utilizing the thin-plate spline and finite element morphometric analysis combined with the cephalometric analysis. By construction the mapping function from thin-plate spline, it is possible to visualize the morphometric differences and further transfer these mapping results to finite element meshing to obtain the strain tensor for quantitative analysis. The advantage of this approach is that the detail distribution of shape and size difference values between normal occlusion Ⅰ and Class Ⅲ groups as well as the principal directions of the morphometric changes could be obtained. These could afford useful information in understanding the Class Ⅲ malocclusion and provide suitable treatment. |
