中文摘要 | 本文主要是根據近年來認知心理學的研究,去探討幼兒記憶能力發展的情形,並 由此進一步去探討幼兒是否適合去「讀經」。幼兒記憶力不佳的原因很多,包括:(一)在記 憶事物時大多定是以逐字表徵去將訊息加以編碼,而較少以要旨表徵去編碼。(二)訊息貯存 能力較差,幼兒比較容易接受暗示,事件發生之後到訊息提取之間所發生的其他事情常常會 干擾他們對事件的回憶。(三 ) 在提取訊息時,幼兒常會遺漏一些重要的訊息。(四 ) 幼兒 使用的記憶策略較少,較無效,也較無彈性。(五 ) 年幼兒童訊息處理的能量較小。 (六 ) 訊息處理的速度較慢。(七 ) 未能注意到事務重要的一面。因為上述原因,所以要幼兒去記 誦他們不能瞭解的經文,不但是「事倍功半」,也不符合幼兒身心的發展,因此幼稚園不宜 推展讀經活動。 |
英文摘要 | This paper is to review the literature about memory development of young children and to appraise the appropriateness of the rehearsal of ancient Chinese books in young children. young children remember somewhat less well than older individua. The reasons why young children remember less than old individuals are as ollows: (1)Their encoding places greater emphasis on verbatim information, reative to gist.(2)Worse storage of information affects young children's less accurate nemory.(3)Children tend o underreport what happened when they were asked to retrieve information about events.(4) Young children know less strategies than old individuals and then less of ten, less efficient, and less flexible.(5)Young children cannot simultaneously process as much information as older ones.(6)Young children cannot process information slower than older one.(7)Young children tend to attend to unimportant parts of an event. It takes much more time to rehearsal ancient Chinese books for young children than for older individuals because of the many reasons cited above and also because they do not understand the meaning of the books. |
