中文摘要 | 本研究目的在探討電腦程式語言Logo和多媒體教學對國小學生創造思考力的影 響,並探討國小學童是否能運用Logo程式語言和多程體軟體,設計出有創意的作品。本研究 實盲設計採用前測、後測準實驗設計。研究對象為國小五年級學童共117人(N=117),依照班 級分為Logo實驗組、多媒體實驗組、及控制組進行六週之教學。本實驗以陶倫斯創當思考圖 形測驗為前測與後測工具用以評量學生的創造思考力,本研究採狦藝術的創造思袁力評量表 來評定學生利用電腦程式語言Logo或電腦多媒體所創作的作品是否具有創造或,所收集的資 料經過共變數分析 (ANCOVA) 之後獲得以下發現:(1)多媒體實盲組比控制組和Logo實驗組 的學生,顯著地增加其創告思考力在獨創力、流暢力、變通力、及精進力方面。(2)Logo實驗 組的學生和控制組的學生的在獨創力、流暢力、及變通力方面的表現沒差異,惟在精進力的 項目上,顯著的降低其創造思考力。(3)Logo實實組和多媒體實驗組學生的陶倫斯創造愈考圖 形後測成績和藝術的創造思考力。(3)Logo實驗組和多媒體實驗繆學生的陶倫斯創造思考圖形 後測成績和藝術的創造思考力評量成績呈現正相關。 根據此結果,本研究深入探討並發現:電腦多媒體教學能幫助提昇國小學生的創造思考 力主要基於以下的因素:內在的學習動機、視覺和聽覺對右腦的刺激、電腦多媒體軟體提供 豐富的創造資源。電腦程式語言Logo未能幫助學生的創造思考力,其可能原因包括:國小教 育缺乏解決問題能力、電腦老師的缺代、及未能使學生產生較高的學習動機、研究時間太短 等。 |
英文摘要 | This study was designed to investigate the effectiveness of Logo programming and multimedia instruction on fifth-grade students' creative thinking and to determine whether students can develop creative projects by using either Logo programming or multimedia software. A pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was planned and performed in this study. One hundred and seventeen students were assigned to a Logo group, a multimedia group and a control group for the six-week treatment. To compare the effects of the different treatments between groups, the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking-Figural tests were administered before and after the treatment. The Assessment of Artistic Creativity (AAC) was used to determine the degree of creativity associated with students' projects. The analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) indicated that the multimedia group significantly outperformed the control group and the Logo group in originality, fluency, flexibility and elaboration creativity. The results in the Logo group failed to attain a statistically significant level compared with the control group in originality, fluency, flexibility of creativity. Students in the control group significantly performed better than the Logo group in elaboration creativity. The results revealed the significantly positive correlation between the TTCT-F posttest scores and the AAC scores. The results indicated that multimedia software has a great potential in facilitating students' creativity. These effects may be associated with some factors such as the intrinsic motivation, the visual and audio effects of stimulating right hemisphere functions, and the ample resources and features supported by the software. The finding that Logo programming soft ware did not successfully enhance students' creativity may be due to any of several possible factors: the cultural background of Taiwanese students, the lack of motivation, the deficient training in problem solving strategies, the brief treatment period, and the lack of teacher resources in the computer laboratory. Recommendations for the future studies and the consequent limitations for implementing Logo programming and multimedia software dealing with children's with children's creativity are also provided in this study. |
