中文摘要 | 對於男女性別之差異,過去多傾向於從生物的角度加以詮釋,近三、四十年來,社會建構論的發展,對於性別之形成提出了強而有力的論述與實證基礎,兩者之間的論辯歷經數十年,至今仍持續進行。性別文化研究以性別的社會建構作為立論基礎,從微觀與巨觀的角度,多方探應後天性別文化對於個人之形塑與社會之影響,並從中思考突破與改革之道。 八○年代中期,女性╱性別相關研究與教育進入臺灣的校園之中,九○年代中期之後,發展更為快速蓬勃,不僅課程更多元豐富,許多校園並相繼成立研究室,規劃完整學程,甚至亞洲第一個性別教育研究所也於去年(2000年)在高師大成立。本人在八十一學年度下學期(1992年春)開始在銘傳大學通識課程中開設「女性研究」、「性別文化研究」、「女性文學」與「性別與身體」等相關課程。本論文試圖記錄其中「性別文化研究」課程的開課緣起,課程目標與內涵,並分享教學經驗,以與更多先進同好相互切搓,彼此學習。 |
英文摘要 | The debate about biology vs. social construction in gender issues has been going on heatedly for decades. Beginning in the 1960's, under the influence of the women's movement, women's/gender studies and courses were developed and increased rapidly in western countries. In Taiwan this trend began in the mid 80'.s. Because gender equity education has been receiving more attention since the 90's, more women/gender-related courses have been opened in the colleges and universities of Taiwan. Unfortunately, many teachers are still faced with such problems as what to teach and how to teach it. The author of this paper started teaching "Gender Studies" as a general course at Min-chuan University in 1993. In this paper she recounts the background of the development of women's studies, her own training and growth as a teacher in the filed, and her experiences teaching the course in terms of its concepts, theories, materials and teaching methods. By so ding,, she hopes that more teachers will be willing to share their teaching experiences and to make such courses more fruitful as well as enjoyable. |
