中文摘要 | 臺灣冷杉(Abies kawakamii)主要分佈在本省3,000 m之高山地帶,是臺灣主要一 級河川之發源地。由於臺灣高山陡峭,土石崩坍頻仍,因此冷杉之分佈對高山地區的水土保 持極具重要性。 本研究之目的主要係使用數值地形模型 (Digital Terrain Model) 探討合 歡山地區臺灣冷杉空間分佈之特性。本研究將數值地形模型與土地利用數值檔 (遙測資料 ) 套疊,產生全區與冷杉在海拔、坡度及坡向之統計值。然後據以繪出全區與冷杉在三因子的 百分比分佈圖及冷杉與非冷杉在三因子的累計頻率圖,以了解冷杉與非冷杉在空間分佈之異 同。數化稜線與谷線係由像片基本圖判釋並數化產生,再與冷杉區塊數值檔套疊產生地形特 徵圖層,用以闡釋冷杉屏障區地形假說。研究結果得知冷杉在海拔之分佈與背景明顯有異, 而冷杉在坡度與坡向之分佈則與背景相近。海拔是冷杉生長分佈之主要限制因子,坡度為次 要因子,而坡向之影響輕微似不若前人研究所言。屏障區地形假說可用以解釋本研究之結果 。這種空間分佈之外延性及假說仍需深入研究加以證實。 |
英文摘要 | Abies kawakamii are mainly distributed over Taiwan mountain areas with an altitude around 3,000m where are the place of origin for Taiwan major streams of the first order. Due to rugged terrain of Taiwan high mountain areas, landslide occurs frequently. Therefore, the distribution of Abies kawakamii is very important for soil and water conservation in Taiwan mountain areas. The objective of this study was to investigate the spatial distribution characteristics of Abies in Hohuan mountain areas mainly by using digital terrain model (DTM) data. The statistics of elevation, slope, and aspect for the entire area and Abies areas were generated by overlaying DMT data and digital land use data (remotely sensed data). In order to realize the difference or similarity in spatial distribution between Abies and non-Abies, this study produced percentile distribution graphs for the entire area and Abies areas and cumulative frequency graphs for Abies and non-Abies areas corresponding to each factor. The terrain feature map was produced by overlaying the digitized Abies polygons and ridge and valley lines visually interpreted from photo base maps. This map was used to illuminate the hypothesis of shelter district terrain. As the results indicated, areas with Abies occurred at elevation classes from 2,500m to 3,400m with a greater frequency than was expected based on the frequency of these classes on the landscape. Conversely, areas with Abies occurred at every slope and aspect classes in the approximate proportion as these classes were present on the landscape. The elevation is found to be a major limiting factor for distribution of Abies; the slope is a secondary factor. However, the influence of aspect on the distribution of Abies is slight, and this result is likely to be not in agreement with the result of previous studies. The hypothesis of shelter district terrain for Abies is capable of explaining this result. Further studies are needed to confirm the extendibility of the spatial distribution of Abies in the Hohuan mountain area and the hypothesis. |
