中文摘要 | 本論文包含兩個研究,對一所公立小學四年級兒童探討問答討論與類比推理解決數學問題的表現。研究一目的在於探討兒童有否參與解題討論,對於其類比推理解決問題特徵相似性不同的問題表現之影響。研究二目的在於探討接受數學實驗課程教學兒童與非實驗班兒童,其問答討論類型的差異,並比較其在問題特徵相似性不同的問題上,類比推理解題表現之差異。研究一結果發現,兒童參與解題討論者,在解決表面與結構特徵皆相似的問題上,類比推理表現優於無參與討論的兒童;但是在解決表面特徵相似但結構特徵不相似的問題上,則兩組兒童未具顯著差異。研究二的結果發現,兒童的問答討論,表現較多的解釋性問答以及與解題無關的討論;而在關聯性問答與批判性問答上則表現偏低。在推理解題表現方面,接受不同教學方式的兒童於充分理解來源問題基模以後,其類比推理解題表現皆無顯著差異。提升兒童使用語言解釋觀念與批判辯證的討論技能,以及洞察問題結構特徵相似性以應用知識推理解題能力之培養,是未來教學努力之方向。 |
英文摘要 | This research contained two studies of selected fourth grade students of a public elementary school to investigate how the verbal interaction in collaborative small groups and its affection in their analogical reasoning for solving mathematical word problems. The results of Study One indicated that children who were in the collaborative small group learning conditions outperformed those in the individual learning conditions on isomorphic problem solving. The results of Study Two indicated that children exhibited more question asking and responses in explanations and irrelevant talks. However, the frequencies of connection questions and critical thinking questions were low. The analogical reasoning performance between children who engaged in collaborative instructional conditions and those in the conventional instruction conditions was compared, exclusive of the covariance effects of verbal and mathematics achievements. The results of ANCOVA released no significant difference in analogical reasoning in that when the children exhibit understanding of the basic principles behinds the source problem, they can successfully spply the same principles to the target problems. Furthermore, results suggest that the skills of meaningful questioning and answers is needed to be cultivate and enforce by instructors. |
