英文摘要 | In Japan, ante mortem and post mortem inspection of poultry based on the "poultry slaughtering business control and poultry inspection law" has been enforced since 1991. The unique characteristics of this law include the designated inspection agency system and inspections carried out by both part-time veterinary officers and quality controllers. The quality controllers are hired by the poultry slaughtering plants and actually inspect the poultry under the supervision of veterinarians. This inspection system has been carried out for six years with good results. It is suggested that the Japanese system might be used as a model in our country. |
