英文摘要 | Background: This study assessed the value of SPECT in the detection of intrahepatic Lithia sis (IL) as compared to planar imaging (PL). Methods: Hepatobiliary SPECT imaging was performed at 15 mm and 1 hr after IV injection of 7 mCi of Tc-99m DISIDA. Tc-99m DISIDA sequential planar imaging was done up to one hr in a separate day. The result of SPECT was positive when there was pooling of the complex in one or more of the eight hepatic segments. The planar image was read as positive if pooling occurred in the right and/or left lobe at 1 hr. Diagnosis of IL was confirmed by sonography, CT, ERCP, or intraoperative cholangiography. Results: In 10 controls and 14 patients with IL (affecting 10 right lobes and 12 left lobes), the results of SPECT and planar imaging had their respective sensitivity of 100% and 86% and specificity of 92% and 92%. In 19 affected lobes positive in SPECT and PL, SPECT detected more than one segment of cooling in 8 lobes instead of demonstrating lobar abnormality only in planar imaging. Conclusions: In summary, SPECT is superior to planar imaging in detecting intrahepatic Lithia sis, and can improve its detestability to 100% with additional ability of segmental localization. |
