中文摘要 | In CMOS circuits, the power consumption is proportional to the square of the supply voltage (V�媛D). With its quadratic relationship to power, lowering voltage offers the most direct and effective ways of reducing power consumption. In this paper, we propose a new design of exclusive-OR (XOR) circuit with smaller area and full voltage swing at a low supply voltage. New design is proposed to implement the XOR function at the transistor level. Several XOR circuits have been fully simulated using HSPICE with a 0.6 um CMOS technology at 2V supply voltage. It is shown that the proposed circuit not only has a full voltage swing, but also uses smaller area comparing with previous circuits. |
