中文摘要 | In publications in the field of didacties, Industrial and Ecucational Psychology as well as industrial personnel training, nonverbal expressiveness, often depicted as "enthusiasm", "animation, "energy", "variation of stimuli", is ccinsidered as one of the important characteristics of effective training. This is confirmed by a numbet of correlational and experimental studies. They indicate that this aspect of training can have positive effects on trainees' motivation, attention, rating of the teacher, and achievement. Consequently, programs were designed to increase trainers' awareness of nonverbal behavior and to develop their ability to express themselves nonverbally. This review summarizes the results of 64 evaluation studies judged to be relevant' for this topic, using vote counting and metaanalysis procedures. Results for nonveroal sensitivity, nonverbal expressiveness, and related variables indicate that these aspects of nonverbal communication can be enhanced by direct systematic training as opposed to "indirect" training. Only slightly positive resul'ts were obtained for trainee attitudes and no positive results for trainee achievement as a consequence of an enhancement of nonverbal expressiveness through training. These findings are discussed with respect to research on nonverbal communication and attention. In addition, recommendations for developing related training process are glven. |
