英文摘要 | In this paper, the grey theory is embedded into a 2-D competitive Hopfield neural network named Grey Competitive Hopfield Neural Network (GCHNN) in order to generate optimal solution for vector quantization in discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain. The information transformed by DCT was separated into DC and AC coefficients. Then, the AC coefficient are trained using the proposed methods to generate better codebook based on vector quantization (VQ). The energy function of GCHNN is defined as the grey relational degree between training samples and cluster centroids. The near globalminimum codebook can be obtained when the energy function converges to a stable state. In accordance with the degree of similarity measures between training vectors and codevectors, the grey relational analysis is used to measure the relationship degree among them. The simulated results show that valid and promising codebook can be generated in the frequency domain. |
