中文摘要 | 碎形幾何是近年來創造出的一種新型幾何,用來揭示自然界混亂無規則結構中的規律性及物理本質。碎形理論具有的自我相似性,加上分數維度(dimension),可以表現出潛在自然界中的複雜圖像,而將這些特徵應用在視覺設計,將有別於傳統歐式幾何學的表現方式。 在後現代美學的衝擊下,對形式的要求不再單純以功能為訴求,促使我們重新思考視覺新美學的規則、技術與表現方式。本文藉文獻探討碎形相關的理論基礎,對碎形形成的樣式與現象加以整理,並將其在視覺設計做試探性的分析應用,以提供設計創意與表現之參考。 |
英文摘要 | Fractal geometry, a new theory of Geometry which has been developed in recent years is able ttorepresent the regulation and characteristics of physical objects from their chaos and irregular constructions. It announced regular patterns and innate character in irregular chaos structures of natural objects. Fractal geometry has self-similar figure of each part. Moreover, it is not only can show complex images of nature but also apply it character on visual design by a fraction form. The method of expression is quite different from Euclid geometry. From the impact of Postmodernism, formalization will not lead to functional approach, therefore we need to rethink the regulation, technique, and the way we present our works from the perspective of neoaesthetics. This paper is to use the theory of Fractal Geometry from literature review and organizes its form and phenomenon. The author attempts to examine and apply this theory on visual design. The result of the study will be served as a reference in the design and creative development. |
