中文摘要 | 臺灣省畜產試驗所臺東場自1980年起飼養本土豬種蘭嶼豬4公16 母,並圈養成為一封閉的逢機配種族群,體色全黑的蘭嶼豬經近親繁殖後出現白色斑子代 ,在1993年白色斑仔豬出現率為15.2%(87/2赳)。就白色斑出現的部位進行分析,37頭中 有100%的豬在臉部、59%在耳朵、86%在頸部、92%在左前肢、97%在右前肢、89%在 背部、86%在左腹部、84%在右腹部、76%在左後肢、73%在右後肢、97%在尾巴有白色 斑。選留其中的6公18母為第零代種畜。採1公3母併欄配種,但公豬採輪替方式。有17 頭 母豬產下第一胎,共計生產88頭第一代活仔豬,每頭仔豬的臉部皆有白色斑,其餘身體部 位呈現白色斑的頻率為95至99%不等。五月齡稱重並選留體重不超過20公斤者6公18母 為 第一代種畜。經併欄配種後第一代母豬18頭均產下第一胎,共計有90頭第二代活仔豬,卯 頭仔豬的臉部、頸部、背部、左腹部或右腹部均有色斑,不過有白色斑或棕色斑兩種,前 述五個部位具棕色斑的仔豬頭數比率分別有27.8、33.3、30.0、32.2和30.0%。仔豬的其 他六個身體部位仍呈現白色斑,白色斑在耳朵出現頻率為80%、左右前肢為99%、左右後 肢為100%、以及尾巴為100%。選育結果蘭嶼豬近親品系仔豬之體色兼具棕色斑和白色斑 的族群頻率由0增至1/3,經試交測驗,認為棕色斑比白色斑還弱的另一隱性遺傳。 |
英文摘要 | Lanyu is a native pig breed with a solid black coat color. The population raised at the Taitung station has been a closed herd since 1980. Piglets with white-spotting on their solid black coat was observed from inbreeding and the occurrence of spotty piglets born was 15.2% (37/244) in 1993. Location of white-spotting on the body were examined in all 37 piglets from inbreeding. All of the 37 piglets had white-spotting on the face, but 59% of them had white-spotting on the ears, 86% on the neck, 92% on the left fore limb, 97% on the right fore limb, 89% on the back, 86% on the left belly, 84% on the right belly, 76% on the left hind limb, 73% on the right hind limb, and 97% on the tail. Selection of coat color for white-spotting in the Lanyu inbreeding line was set, and six male and 18 female pigs were selected as the GO stocks. When they matured, one boar was penned together with three gilts for natural mating. Boars were introduced into the gilt pen alternately. Seventeen out of 18 gilts had first litters and produced a total of 88 live piglets. All of the 88 piglets had white-spotting on the face and varied with 95% to 99% of piglets having white-spotting on other parts of the body. The body weight at five months of age was not more than 20 kg as the selection standard for the Gl stocks, and six males and 18 females were selected. All 18 Gl gilts had first litters and a total of 90 G2 piglets were produced. Color spots existed on the face, neck, back, left belly, or right belly of all of the 90 G2 piglets, but there were two kinds of color spots: white and brown. Percentages of piglets with brown-spotting on the above five parts of the body were 27.8, 33.3, 30.0, 32.2 and 30.0%, respectively. White-spotting still existed on the other six parts of the body for all of the piglets as follows: 80% of piglets had white-spotting on the ears, 99% had white-spotting on both left and right fore limbs, 100% on both lef t and right hind limb, and 100% on the tail. Selection on coat color in the inbreeding line of Lanyu pig breed revealed that the f requency of piglets having both brown-spotting and white-spotting on a black background coat increased f rom zero to 1/3. Based upon the test-cross experiment, we concluded that the appearance of spotty brown coat color was a recessive inheritance as illustrated by the existence of spotty white on the black coat. |
