英文摘要 | We collected Cyclobalanopsis glauca from 9 different provenances in Taiwan. Eight morphological characteristics of 20 samples from each individual tree of each provenance were measured to detect their variation. Leaves of two-year-old seedlings germinated from seeds of above trees were used for isozyme analysis. Isozyme data were obtained from 12 % starch gel slab electrophoresis. The data were analyzed by homogeneity test, ANOVE (analysis of variance) and genetic distance estimation. Most morphological characteristics of the provenances were different from each others. Homogeneity test of isozymes of 5 enzyme systems revealed that the spread of various isozyme bands turned out to be heterogeneous. The band frequencies among provenances also showed significantly different. X□ test and ANOVA among provenances appeared the same results. Nevertheless, no significant difference was observed within each provenance. In view of genetic estimation by hierarchical clustering method, there was no relationship between genetic distance and geographic distance among the 9 Cyclobalanopsis glauca provenances. The analysis for populations from four different elevations also showed there was no relationship between variation trend and site altitude. |
