中文摘要 | 本研究主要目的在探討貯藏方式與貯時期對高粱種子存活率、電解質滲漏,以及三苯基氯鹽還原能力之影響。試結果發現,貯藏於25℃下之種子,其生命力衰退之速率較貯藏於7℃下之種子為高,眞空包裝貯藏對延長種子年限並無多大助益。貯藏時期愈長,則浸潤期所發生滲漏現象也愈嚴重。電子顯微鏡掃描所獲得之結果顯示,高粱種子在浸潤時期所表現的浸漏型式與種皮裂痕發情況頗為一致。貯藏不當也影響高粱種子胚對三苯基氯鹽之還原力。因此似可考慮以三苯基氯鹽還原能力來檢定高梁種子之生命力。 |
英文摘要 | The relationship of seed longevity to electrolyre leaching and formazan production from germinating sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) has been studied with respect to storage methods and storage periods. The longevity of seeds stored at 25°C deteriorated faster than the seeds stored at 7°C. Vacuum and atmosphere of air were not significantly different in preserving seed longevity. Conductivity of leachates increased with storage period. Scanning electron microscopic examination revealed that biphasic pattern of leaching was associated with the cracks formation on seed coat. The amount of produced formazan in excised embryo declined with inappropriate storage and prolonged storage period, suggesting that the formazan extraction technique was a sensitive means for evaluating the seed viability in sorghum. |
