中文摘要 | 本研究所使用牛樟為13年生,共搜集到15個營養系,自每一營養系取1至5株不等幹材為樣本共計25株,其徑級為10-17 cm。不同營養系牛樟比重差異呈顯著,平均氣乾比重為0.398 (0.346-0.444);不同營養系人工林牛樟之MOR (504-775 kgf/cm2)及MOE (29,271-68,457 kgf/cm2)差異亦均呈顯著。若以比重及MOR和 MOE為選育基準的話,本試驗以營養系24號最合格,其次為53號,最值得選育推廣。本文曾進行牛樟各性質廣義遺傳力之推定,以比重最高0.70,其次為 MOR 0.50及MOE 0.43。惟因不同營養系重複株數太少,有待日後進一步探討。本研究結果可做為將來牛樟優良營養系選定及造林經營及利用相互配合之參據。 |
英文摘要 | At the age of 13 yr, 1 to 5 different numbers of stout camphor (Cinnamomum kanehirae) stem wood specimens were collected from each of 15 clones, or altogether 25 stem wood specimens were selected for the present study. Mean diameter of the stem wood varied from 10 to 17 cm. There were significant between-clone differences in stem wood specific gravity with mean specific gravity being 0.398 (0.346-0.444). There were also significant between-clone differences in MOR (504-775 kgf/cm2) and MOE (29,271-68,457 kgf/cm2) values. Broad-sense heritabilities for specific gravity, MOR, and MOE were 0.70, 0.50, and 0.43, respectively. Clones 24 the best and 53, the next, were recommended for general planting purposes based on their wood specific gravity, MOR, and MOE values. Future studies should be designed to include more clones before practical information for forest management can be derived. |
