英文摘要 | Brightness enhanced color filters composed of micro-prism arrays arid optical interference color filters were developed to increase the optical throughput of liquid crystal light valve projection systems. This novel device rakes full advantage of reflection/transmission type filters by employing micro-dichroic mirror arrays to form R, G, and B color filters to further improve optical efficiency. The color filters direct the reflected light of each pixel so that it is redistributed to the respective color pixel area. Thus, the brightness enhancement color filters can fully utilize the whole illumination and maximize the optical throughput of the projection system. |
