中文摘要 | 民國七十八年政府修改銀行法並開放民營、外商銀行設立,極力推動金融創新化 、自由化與國際化,使得金融業的經營競爭越來越激烈。民國八十六年至今,已有二十二家 信用合作社基於各種不同動機 (擴大經濟規模、 提供經濟能力、挽救財務危機等等 ) 陸續 改制或與金融機構合併,目前僅剩五十家信用合作社,信合社家數在近三年內縮減了三十一 %左右。針對此發展的趨勢,本文將以理論的觀點說明合併的種類及合併的動機,且分析臺 灣地區金融機構合併的背景,並以 SWOT 的模式評估金融機構合併的內部環境及外部環境, 進而提出建議以供後續研究參考之用。 |
英文摘要 | With the revision of banking law and the attempt of carrying out financial innovation, deregulation and internationalization by Taiwanese government, the banking industry has become more competitive. Since 1997, 22 credit cooperatives have undergone reform or been merged with some finacial institutions. Until now only 50 credit cooperatives have survived. That is, 31% of the credit cooperatives had been cut down. Under such circumstances, this paper will, first of all, serve as a descriptive and analytical account of the types and causes of merger based on the theoretical point of view. Second, the background of merger among financial institutions will be analyzed. Third, both the internal and external environments of the merger among the finacial institutions with SWOT model will be evaluated. Ultimately, some suggestions with regard to merger in the whole financial industry will be made. |
