英文摘要 | First proposed by Fauth and Shinskey in 1975, valve position control method employs controllers with integral-only action to slowly adjust control valves of manipulative variables in order to keep them at desired positions. This method, combined with the characteristics of unit operations, can save energy consumed in chemical processes. This article describes the basic principal of how the method saves energy and illustrates its applications to distillation columns, hot oil systems, exothermic reactors and steam-turbine systems. |
