中文摘要 | 教師自我效能是教師信念的核心,為有效教學、學校改進及教育革新的關鍵。本文探討教師自我效能的概念與發展,以瞭解教師教學行為背後所隱含的意義。首先,分析教師自我效能的意義、特性與測量;其次,檢視教師自我效能和教學行為及學生成就的關係;接著,探討教師自我效能的影響因素;最後,從策略思考的觀點,提出增進教師自我效能的可行途徑。據此,為確保教師專業成長與發展,本文提出下列七項建議:(1)培養教師反省思考的能力;(2)提供教師自我效能的訊息來源;(3)改變低自我效能教師的信念;(4)發展教師自我激勵的技巧;(5)建立教師評鑑回饋系統;(6)促進教師合作學習及經驗交流;(7)改善教學情境的整體因素。這些建議,可作為師資培育及教育革新之參考。 |
英文摘要 | Teachers are important change agents in the classroom, yet inadequate attention has been paid to traits that optimize teachers' success in implementing innovations. Teacher efficacy has been identified as a variable that can influence teacher effectiveness. The majority of teacher efficacy researchers derive their conceptions from Bandura's (1977) theory of self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is an individual's belief about his or her own ability needed to successfully execute a future course of action. It is a cognitive process that mediates and regulates behavior. This article explores the construct, measurement and development of teacher efficacy. Finally, the author has identified a number of factors that appear to be related to teacher efficacy. The following recommendations may increase teachers' sense of efficacy: 1.Cultivate teachers ability to reflect their teaching practices in different social contexts. 2.Help teachers analyze specific aspects of teaching so that they can identify the sources of their sense of inefficacy. 3. Enhance teachers' confidence in their ability to carry out all the responsibilities of teaching. 4. Encourage self-motivated approaches to personal problem solving. 5. Provide teachers with accurate feedback regarding their performance. 6.Encourage teachers share with other teachers their feeling about teaching effectiveness. 7.Overcome the negative impact of work environment and maintain teachers' motivation and enthusiasm for teaching. |
