中文摘要 | 本研究豐在瞭解圖書出納與館藏、讀者間的互動關係。研究對象是取自南師七十六學年度第一學期(自76年9月至77年1月底)實際到南師圖書館借書的師院一年級及師專二∼五年級學生,共計802人。資料來源有賴借閱圖書紀錄卡及圖書登錄簿。資料處理採百 分比和卡方檢定(x2 test)的統計方法。研究結果顯示:一、所有的出納圖書來自7.12%的館藏,館藏利用的比例偏低。二、出納圖書與各該類館藏比例,供需不均。三、圖書出納冊數隨借閱次數增加而遞減。四、出納圖書中重複借閱幾佔一半,49.85%。五、圖書愈新,被用機會愈大。六、出納圖書中未有外文圖書。七、全校同學五分之一未借閱圖書。八、學生最常借閱的讀物是語文類的特種文藝(尤指小說);其次是社會科學類的教育讀物;總類的普通論叢;哲學類的心理學;語文類的總集;世界史地類的傳記讀物。九、學生最少借閱的讀物是宗教類及應用科學類讀物。十、借閱課外讀物類別與性別、年級有關。 年級方面:借閱讀物最多是師專四年級;其次是三年級;五年級;師院一年級;最少是師專二年級。 性別方面:男生在宗教類和中國史地類方面借閱讀物較女生多,此外其餘各類讀物女生都顯著多於男生。 物女生 都顯著多於男生。 |
英文摘要 | This paper was aimed to understand the interaction between circulation books with library collections and readers. The subjects were students who borrowed books from the school library of Tainan Teachers College. The data were collected from the students' book-borrowing record and Accession record. Percentile and x2 test statistics were used in data analysis. The main findings were: 1.All circulation books come from only 7.12% of the library collections. The ratio of books used was rather low as compared with the 80/20 ryke, 2.The percentage among the classified circulaton books and library collections are different; some are overused, some are underused. 3.The number of books circulating is inverse proportion to circulating frequency. 4.49.85% of circulation books are circulated twice more. 5.The more infrequently is a book being borrowed, the less probably will it ever be used. 6.No foreign language books were found in circulation. 7.One fifth of the students never borrowed books from the school library. 8.The most frequently borrowed books are: Special Literature (especially fictions) in Language and Literature; Education in Social Sciences; General Essays in Generalities; Psychology in Philosophy; General Collections in Language and Literature; Biography in History and Geography. 9.The least borrowed books are: Religions and Applied Sciences. 10.The classification of books borrowed is correlated with sex and age. Students who borrowed books the most, to be ranked in order, and the fourth-year, the third-year and then the fifth-year students of Junior Teacher College. The freshmen of Teachers College ranked the fourth whereas students in the first-year of Junior Teachers College belonged to the last group. Male students borrowed more books in Religion, and Chinese History & Geography than female students.
