英文摘要 | In this article, I display the breadth, depth, and complexity of issues surrounding the study of literacy within a context of globalization. Globalization mostly refers to a set of phenomena that has characterized into huge transfers of money around the world, the rapid development of information technology, and the growth of production and service exchanges. By contrast, identity politics and new social movements generate new localized identities at the expanse of national and class identities that has resulted in the declining role of nation state. I also suggest that literacy pedagogy must account for both radical changes occurring in the nature of public community and economic life and the growing variety of text forms associated with information and multimedia technologies in order to achieve an informed citizenry within the context of reterritorialization. |
