中文摘要 | 利用消能裝置消散地震傳入結構的能量,是減輕地震對建築物產生危害的最經濟 有效方法之一,而加勁阻尼器(TPEA)與黏彈阻尼器(VE damper)都是性能良好的消能裝置。 當強震發生時,位移相依之加勁阻尼器裝置比結構物中的主要支承構件更早產生降伏以消散 能量。然而,當地震力不足以使其降伏時,其將無法提供結構物任何阻尼功能;而黏彈阻尼 器在地震剛開始及速度為零時亦無法發揮其作用。本文嘗試將加勁阻尼器及黏彈阻尼器依各 種混合搭配方式配置在一棟十層樓的建築構架上。經適當的混合配置後,不但能改善其個別 缺點及強化其優點,且能以更經濟的方式達到控制需求。 |
英文摘要 | The use of supplemental damping to dissipate the seismic energy is considered to be one of the most economical and effective ways to mitigate the effects of earthquakes on buildings. Both tapered-plate energy absorber (TPEA) and viscoelastic (VE) damper are promising devices for dissipating energy. TPEA devices, which is a displacement-dependent device, may not provide any damping to the structure during minor earthquakes. In addition, velocity-dependent devices such as VE dempers fail to reduce structural response at early stage (very first few seconds) of earthquakes. The adoption of combined TPEAs and VE dampers for the 10-story building frame shows that the shortcomings of individual dampers can be minimized, and the most economical way could be achieved by this method. |
