英文摘要 | The main purpose of this research is to create geometrical model of cutter for the generated gears. Based on the theory of gear meshing, the differential geometry and coordinate transformation methods are used to generate the mathematical model for the cutters and the generated gears. By this method, a set of softwares could be developed to change parameters: the tooth number, the pressure angle and the shift coefficient in whatever way desired. After being analyzed and simulated in the computer, it can directly display continuous enveloping process and the extent of undercut of tracks for the generated gear. By using this device, a well-established foundation for the design, processing and manufacturing of gears could be provided to meet the requirement of modern computer-aided teaching. |
