中文摘要 | Benzalkonium chloride(BKC)為魚池常使用做為殺菌及殺藻之藥物,利用 BKC5~1ppm濃度於8口斑節蝦池中,發現24小時後其總生菌數由10 –10 CFU/ml 增加 為10 –10 CFU/ml,而弧菌科屬菌種也由10 –10 CFU/ml增加至10 –10 CFU/ml, 由此結果,我們發現0.5~1ppm的BKC對殺菌並無效果反而會因使藻類死亡,而更加速菌 種大量增殖。另外,經室內實驗探討BKC對Vibrio anguillarum, Aeromonas spp., Edwardsilla tarda及Flaxibacter spp.之抗菌效果,發現需30ppm以上濃度才能對此四種菌種產生抑制, 在此以下濃度只暫時有抑制效果,隨後生菌數即上升。我們也發現BKC之抗菌活性受多種 環境因子之影響,水中菌種生菌數(CFU/ml)含量愈高,水質pH愈低,以及水中鹽度愈 高都會使得BKC的抗菌活性減弱。 |
英文摘要 | The bactericidal activities and factors affecting bactericidal activities of benzalkonium chloride(BKC) were studied here. The 0.5-1 ppm concentrations of BKC were applied in eight shrimp ponds. We found that the numbers of total bacteria in those ponds increased from 10 –10 CFU/ml to 10 –10 CFU/ml after treatment of 24 hours. Furthermore, the cell number of vibrionaecae also increased from 10 –10 CFU/ml to 10 –10 CFU/ml. Therefore, the concentrations of 0.5-1 ppm of BKC could kill algae but could not prevent multiplication of the bacteria effetively. In fact, we found that the lowest effective bactericidal concentration of BKC which could prevent multiplication of Vibrio anguillarium, Aeromonas spp., Edwardsilla tarda, and Flaxibacter spp. was 30 ppm in laboratory. Below the concentration, BKC just inhibited multiplication of the four bacteria temporarily. However, the cell number of the bacteria would recover with time. The Cell number of bacteria, pH values, and salinity strongly affected the bactericidal effect of BKC. The cell number of bacteria and the salinity of solution increased with lower bactericidal effect of BKC. The bactericidal effect also decreased while the pH values decreased. |
