中文摘要 | 中文版面的編排方式除了有英文橫排的特性,還有直排的方式,國人在閱讀的習 慣上,完全可以適應這兩種不同的編排。本研究採「語義分析法」來探討中文版面中直式編 排與橫式編排因排列方式的改變,對意象的影響,其主要的目的在尋求較適合閱讀的中文版 面之直式與橫式的編排方式,以供視覺傳達設計實務和教學上的參考。 本研究的主要結論如下: 1. 兩性間對35組字之意象評估頗為一致,性別差異並不顯著。 2. 影響評估者意象反應之兩個共同因素分別是:「可讀感覺因素」、「信賴感覺因素」。 3. 一欄式且版面率在60%以上的字組,不論直排形式或是橫排形式,其可讀感覺及信 賴感覺都是負面的評價。 4. 以兩欄直排形式的編排而言,除了版面率40%的可讀性及信賴感是正面的評價外, 其他的(版面率50%、60%、70%、80%)可讀性均不理想,尤其以版面率80%之可讀性 及信賴感均不佳(因子得點是負的)。 5. 兩欄橫排形式的編排方面,除了版面率80%的字組較不易閱讀之外,其他的編排形 式在可讀感覺與信賴感覺的評價都是正面的。 6. 三欄式的編排,無論直排形式或橫排形式,其可讀感覺普遍不錯,尤其是直排形式 的可讀性和信賴感之因子得點均為「正值」,而橫排形式較有可讀性,但信賴感覺不佳。 7. 在四欄直排形式的編排上,除了版面率70%的讓受試者較有信賴感之外,其餘的(版 面率40%、50%、60%、80%)在信賴感覺因素的得點都是負值,但可讀性均為正面的印 象。 |
英文摘要 | Vocational and technical education plays an important role during the process of economic development. Technical institutes are the highest level of vocational and technical education for the missions of creating technicians with extensive technical skills and knowledge. Technical institutes in Taiwan have been facing challenges while Taiwan economics rapidly changes in the recent years. In order for the technical institutes to meet the society needs, it is necessary to reevaluate the functions of technical institutes. This study was conducted to survey the atfitudes of students in a technical institutes loward their learning achievement. The following research questions were included: (1) What were students' motivations to study in the technical institute? (2) How did students achieve in the professional technology, reasoning skills, and humane science? (3) What were students' expectations on the improvement of technical institute policies and practices. Self-rating questionnaires were developed for this study, using 5 point Likert scale. Four hundred fifty-five seniors in a technical institute were surveyed as a sample. The return rate was 67%. Based on the data analysis, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) Most students enrolled in Continning education programs of the technical institutes for the bachelor degree which is important for their job promotion; (2) Students believed that their technical proficiency was improved. However, the institute offered courses related to theories rather than practices; (3) Students' reasoning skills were not improved enough to integrate the knowledge in the multiple professional fields; and (4) The improvement of students' humanistic achievement was successful. Students were confident in their communication skills and the sense of duty. The foreign language proficiency and understanding of foreign culture were yet insufficient. Some recommendations and suggestions were, therefore, provided at the end of this study. |
