中文摘要 | 本研究使用一套折射率光纖感測系統,分析環氧樹脂(TGDDM)之物性與加入硬化 劑( DDS )後之化學反應,研究結果顯示 TGDDM 的折射率隨溫度的升高而降低,其折射率 之溫度係數顯示二個不同值, 這是由於 TGDDM 在高低溫區的熱膨脹係數不同所致。 採用 Hansch 法求得 TGDDM 的莫耳折射為 120cm �纂A 並代入 Lorentz-Lorenz 公式得到 TGDDM 的密度隨著折射率之增加而呈線性增加,其關係式為ρ =n-0.8633/0.6115 與 Schael 式非 常近似。用折射率光纖感測分析 TGDDM 加入 DDS 後之化學反應,結果顯示在硬化溫度 177 ℃時,TGDDM 環氧基的轉化率在反應開始後 100 分鐘內快速增加,但過了 100 分鐘後,轉 化率就趨於平緩進而終止, 此種趨勢與 DSC 及 FTIR 分析之結果類似,此証明利用折射率 光纖感測,可以監控高分子複合材料之硬化過程。 |
英文摘要 | A fiber optic refractometric sensing system for analyzing the physical properties and the cure reaction of TGDDM/DDS epoxy system has been used in this study. The results indicate that the refractive index of TGDDM decreases with increasing temperature. The temperature coefficient shows two different values. This is due to the differendent thermal expansion coefficient in the two temperature regions. The molar refraction of TGDDM is 120 cm �� using the Hansch method. By substituting this data into Lorentz-Lorenz equation, the result shows that the density of TGDDM linearly increases with refractive index following the equation: ρ =n-0.8633/0.6115. The study on the cure reaction of TGDDM/DDS system employing fiber optic refractometric sensing system shows that the consuming rate of epoxy group of TGDDM (i.e. extent of cure or conversion) increased rapidly within 100 minutes but levels off as reaction progress beyond this time. This trend of reaction profile is similar to those from DSC and FTIR. This suggests that using fiber optic refractometric sensing system to monitor the curing of polymeric composite material is tractable. |
